Infant Care & Preschool – Full Time Care for Your Little One!
Infant & Toddler Care
At ABCDino Academy, the fun starts the minute your child comes through the door. We provide a flexible, secure, fun environment and our staff take extra care with supportive contact at drop-off until your child is ready to make some new friends. Our aim is for your child to have fun with our engaging curriculum, helping them feel relaxed and secure in our environment is the best way to achieve that goal. You can register online via our parent portal.
The Infant area is designed to be peaceful, calm, and engaging. We practice physical milestones as we nurture each child’s development. Teachers will narrate daily activities, read, sing, and play on the floor. Simple toys are introduced as our youngest explorers prepare to move into toddlerhood.
The Toddler area is the first introduction to group schedule, circle time, and work time. Beginning Preschool Lessons are selected to fit perfectly with the children’s developmental needs and rotated often. Self help skills are introduced and practiced daily.. It consists of an entryway where each child has a hook or cubby for personal belongings, an activity area, fine motor lesson room, a bathroom with a child-sized toilet, accessible sink and diaper changing area. There is also an activity room for indoor play and gross motor movement. An outdoor fenced-in playground.
Experience has shown that young children enjoy and are capable of successfully participating in a large variety of play-based lessons that are developmentally appropriate for their age and ability level. The toddler environment provides a combination of lessons that have a defined purpose (puzzles, counting materials, vocabulary lessons, practical life lessons such as pouring water or using a baster) as well as creative play materials (a doll house or farm, play telephone), art materials (paint, crayons, glue, paper), and familiar toys or activities such as blocks, cars and trucks, dolls and doll clothes that do not have structure or a defined purpose.
With practice and gentle reminders toddler-age children can be taught and expected to choose and carry a lesson to a table or work rug, work on one lesson at a time, and return a lesson to its place when finished. They can successfully understand the concepts of waiting for someone else to finish their turn, watching but not touching someone else’s work, and sharing with friends. They are capable of working on a lesson with focused concentration for long periods of time. They love to imitate and repeat lessons as shown and will often repeat a lesson many times before being finished with it.
Preschool
ABCDino Academy Preschool delivers a curriculum that brings out the best in your child. Our program is structured into short sessions throughout the day that allow your child to get the most out of every learning opportunity, without the risk of boredom. There is also ample time for unstructured play built into the curriculum to foster creativity, problem solving, self-regulation, and independence.
Structured planning is what sets ABCDino Academy apart from other preschools. You won’t find screens and electronic toys entertaining children here, our preschool program has been developed to inspire and promote intrinsic motivation to learn and grow. Activities throughout the day have been carefully selected and timed to give the maximum learning opportunity to each child while respecting the shorter attention spans of the youngest in our community. We foster a community feel and growth mindset in the younger children while developing empathy in those older as they learn to navigate activities in an inclusive manner.
There are multiple opportunities in a day for circle time and group activities to inspire and share. Free play and gross motor skill development give plenty of time to burn off energy, build strength, independence, and resilience. Project time allows your child to develop their interests and explore creativity and presentation skills. At ABCDino Academy, we have monthly themes to help guide children to learn about the world around them and encourage a lifelong love of learning. Choose ABCDino Academy for preschool services that deliver more than just a helping hand.

From Our Parents
“We love ABCDino Academy so much! Our son enjoys going there, he’s obviously well cared for, and he’s learning new skills at an amazing pace. They’re easy to work with, kind, and genuinely care for the kids. He brings home cute art projects all the time and I really appreciate the app that posts photos and their activities throughout the day along with diaper changes, snacks, and naps. It feels like they’re part of our “team” for our son. ‘We’re so grateful to have found this place!” ~AM
I have been using this location for child care for over a year now. There is a great balance between learning and play. My children love going here and I have peace of mind knowing that they are well cared for by the truly amazing teachers. I am thrilled that this is now a preschool and my children can start their relationship with education in such a wonderful environment. CH (current parent using Dino since 2022)
